The GraphiCode Part Footprint Library is an external database of Part footprints that can be used in conjunction with GC-PowerPlace to enhanced the Automatic Centroid Extraction process. GraphiCode also supplies the necessary tools for backup, database restoration, and management. The functionality requires server side and client side installations. If you are running GC-PowerPlace please consult your IS department regarding the Server installation. It is perfectly acceptable to have your PC act as the server but you will still need to install the server tools on your PC. You will then install the Client tools. Full installation instructions are contained in the two compressed files below (Server and Client Tools.zip and Client Tools Only.zip).

The file Example Dataset.zip is a database populated with a number of standard footprints. There is no requirement to use this database but it may provide a good starting point for building you own database of Part Footprints.
